GUIDEMechanics and How to Use

At a Glance

A Burn and Rupture Slash attacker that stacks Burn on himself and enemies while actively clashing to build 20 Battleblood Instinct. With at least 20 Burn on himself, unleash enhanced S3 Rooster's Rampaging Blades Under the Ensanguined Heaven [血天下鷄舞亂刀].

Core Mechanics

  • Battleblood Instinct: Built through the combat passive Bloody Storm of Blades (5 Gluttony Owned; unlocked at Uptie Ⅱ). Maximum 20, up to 10 per turn. He gains 3 at the start of a Clash, 1 on basic attack skill hits and when he takes Burn damage (1 more below 50% HP), and 5 on defeating an enemy. +0.75% damage per point, and 1 Haste next turn per 10. At 20, S3 becomes its enhanced version.
  • Rooster's Rampaging Blades Under the Ensanguined Heaven [血天下鷄舞亂刀]: All Coins are Unbreakable. +3% damage per Burn on himself, up to 60%, and +1% per 2% of combined HP lost by himself and the target, up to 50%. Grants 10 Burn on Clash Win. Coin Ⅳ is reused if he has 20 or more Burn or is below 50% HP (once per skill). After the attack, he spends all Battleblood Instinct and spends his Burn above 20 (up to 25) to recover HP.
  • Burn on himself too: At the start of a Clash, S1 Peck 'em and S2 Mutilating Talons inflict 1 Burn on the target and himself and increase Burn Count by 1. +1 Clash Power per 10 Burn on himself, up to 2. S3 Bloodflame Massacre [血炎亂舞] inflicts 2 Burn on the target and himself with Coins Ⅰ–Ⅲ. Through the passive Gamefowl, Burn damage does not stagger him and cannot reduce his HP below 1.
  • Bloodflame and S2's reuse: The Defense skill More Grub for Us (a clashable counter) grants 3 Bloodflame next turn on use. S3 grants 3 Bloodflame on use. While he has Bloodflame (up to 3, decreasing by 1 at Turn End), the Burn and Rupture Potency he inflicts on enemies increases by 1. Coin Ⅲ of S2 is reused on Heads Hit if he has Bloodflame or is below 50% HP.
  • Flame Rooster's Death Defiance [炎鳥不死戰]: Survives damage that would bring his HP to 0 once, staying at 1 HP that turn. At the start of the next turn, he recovers (20 + Burn)% of his max HP, up to 49%, and his Burn disappears (once per battle).

How to Use

Early on, secure Bloodflame with the Defense skill More Grub for Us to trigger S2's reuse, and actively Clash with S1 and S2 to raise Battleblood Instinct and his own Burn. Fire the enhanced S3 once he has 20 Battleblood Instinct and 20 or more Burn on himself. Reaching 20 Burn tends to lag behind, so also count on the 10 Burn gained from the enhanced S3's Clash Win. Hong Lu's The Lord of Hongyuan's Exalted Command has him make a one-sided attack with basic skill 3 (not the enhanced version). This lets him build Battleblood Instinct and Burn while keeping the enhanced S3 in hand, a good pairing. Note that securing 5 Gluttony takes time.
