GUIDEMechanics and How to Use

At a Glance

A tank that uses low Speed to take unopposed attacks and protects allies with S2 Suppress's Damage Down and Protection for the next turn.

Core Mechanics

  • Damage Down: When Coin Ⅱ of S2 hits, it inflicts 1/2 Damage Down on the target next turn (the value changes with Uptie). On use, S2 also adds +4 Aggro to its slot next turn (Uptie Ⅳ).
  • Protection and Your Shield: S1 Baton grants 2 Protection on Clash Lose. On use, S3 Strong Strike gives 1 Protection to the ally with the lowest HP (that turn or the next, depending on Uptie). The combat passive Your Shield (2 Gloom Resonance; unlocked at Uptie Ⅱ) gives +2 Defense power and 1 Protection for 1 turn to the allies on both sides of him on the dashboard at Combat Start (not himself).
  • Slow and durable: His Speed is 1–3/2–3/2–4, and his Defense Level is Identity Lv +3. In regular battles where enemies have many actions, the slowest ally tends to take one-sided attacks, and this Identity can take them on.
  • Aggro (Focused Encounters, Uptie Ⅳ): S3 grants +10 Aggro next turn on use, and S2 and his Defense skill grant +4.
  • Tremor and S3: S1 and S2 can inflict Tremor, but nothing increases Tremor Count, so the Tremor does not last long. S3 triggers Tremor Burst on hit and inflicts 2 Blunt Fragility. If the target has at least 5 Tremor at the time of the Tremor Burst, he also gains 2 Protection next turn.

How to Use

In regular battles, take enemy one-sided attacks as the slowest slot, and land S2 to lower the enemy's damage next turn. Placing allies you want to protect on both sides of him on the dashboard makes the most of Your Shield. In Focused Encounters, draw attacks with Aggro and absorb them with Protection. Burst Tremor with S3 the same turn, or combine it with allies who can inflict Tremor Count. He does not need to win every Clash; the playstyle is to limit damage with Protection and Damage Down and absorb hits with his HP.
